To prevent teen and unplanned pregnancy, we can make protection more accessible. We can do this by providing condom dispensers in public/school bathrooms. We can also stress the importance of not having premarital sex, which will decrease the amount of teen pregnancies immensely. The most effective method to prevent teen pregnancy would be to have special programs in all high schools in America to give teens a chance to see what having a baby in this exact point in time would do to their lives and making that class a requirement to graduate.

Parents and teachers stressing the consequences of having a baby in high school, like the possibility of dropping out and not being able to support themselves and the baby in the future, will have more and more teens considering the effects of how having a baby in high school will affect their lives. It will also have them actually take a minute to think before committing a reckless act. Teens will realize that having children in high school is actually a serious issue and will stop acting like it is impossible for them to have a baby in their teens, because they can and most likely will if they’re not safe.
